Beautiful lake without the crowds, half hour walk around. Swimming and chilling recommended. However the best bit is the restaurant which does a really good meal. Menus 13e or 18e. Not the same old, same old, inventive salads, gambas, steak or duck breast, not a frozen chip in sight, we were four and full bill was less than 20e each including plenty of wine and coffees. Would have liked to review it in it's own right but TA can't find it.
There's a campsite and it really is very alpine scenery.
Plus on leaving, stop at the house on the right where Monsieur sells wonderful plaits of fresh garlic.
