We hired a blue bike at the port for 10euros a day and cycled into town, (10 mins), the market was amazing, colourful, beautifully fresh fruit veg and the chatter chatter of French conversation. We then cycled 4 km the other way to the beach at Les Sablettes , cycle path nearly all the way . Lots of eateries not tourustity at all

In summer the market is a riot of color, and smells. In winter it is quieter and reverts to a place where the locals shop, meet and pass the time. It is a true market for locals which stretches to welcome visitors in the busy summer - enjoy it.

If you are looking for the Provence atmosphere, you can't do better! This is a very nice market with fresh and tasty products, affordable prices and a beautiful landscape! I love going there, looking at all the beautiful fresh fruits and vegetables, cheese and fish and walk through the boardwalk.

Our cruise ship docked at La Seyne-sur-Mer and wanted to charge an arm and a leg for the water shuttle to Toulon, so we decided to visit La Seyne-sur-Mer instead. We were delighted to find this interesting market. A band of acrobats was performing the day we were there, which kept the kids and us entertained. The market sells a wide variety of produce, cooked meals, and merchandise, all in a colourful, lively, and interesting atmosphere.
