“Experience a tasty delicious restaurant”
Reviewed June 27, 2012

Brilliant food and view. Creative and just looking at the plate is an art work. The menu degustation with 6 different courses is fabulous.

“beautiful food ,beautiful setting”
Reviewed February 24, 2012

We had the tasting menu outside on the harbour side.Every dish on the tasting menu delighted except one,but all lived up to Michelin status. The dessert made us laugh out loud at its design ,never mind its taste. This was backed up with good Corsican wine.We all ambled to our local villa full and content.
This place is not cheap and a bit snooty, but is reasonable value for money, especially in Corsica.I know this review is late ,but i saw few are in English.

“Not ferian Adria of the Adriatic, just a decent chef in a nice setting.”
Reviewed September 20, 2011

Nice food in a gorgeous setting. Six courses well selected. Amuses vouched were great and showed a bit of imagination, starter of risotto with a Parmesan crisp was sensational, fish course very good. The only bad note was really in the main where the separate dishes, veal, foie GRAS and assorted other bites did not really come together as one cogent plate of food. It rather came across as a technically gifted chef showing off. Added to this, the glass of red wine to accompany this course arrived after the food and was too cold. In a mo moderately priced restaurant this would not really have bothered me, but given the reputation and more importantly, perhaps, the price here, this was not really good enough. Staff were good but never once asked us for any comments - arrogance perhaps? Deserts were super quality. All in all, we would highlyvrecommend this for a splurge. We took the option of 4 glasses of wine chosen by the restaurant to match the courses. Price 196 euros for two. Very enjoyable evening but a bit expensive!

“Ferran Adrià of the Adriatic”
Reviewed August 7, 2011

We stayed two nights in Erbalunga and treated ourselves the last night at this restaurant based on the Lonly Planet guide. We didn't know what to expect and the very pleasently surprised. The location is charming, the individual balcaney over the miniscule port makes one feel unique. The set menu (68 euros/head) was an explosion of tastes and variety, superbly presented. Obviously not somewhere to eat out every night, but once a year absolutely!

“Not worth the star”
Reviewed September 2, 2010

Le Guide Michelin rates this restaurant with 1 star. When we had dinner there, our expectations were not met. The menu is (a) overpriced for what you get (b) the food is inconsistent in quality and (c) the dishes lack harmony and taste.
Noteworthy is, that locals did recommend NOT to go there. We felt, that tourists are more attracted to it.
