Great Cooking Class, we had a lot of fun cooking with Myo Myo! Food was delicious, really looking forward to trying out the authentic burmese recipes back home.

Our family - two kids and two adults - found Myo Myo's cooking class by coincidence (sign in the street outside the family's restaurant) and signed up. In the morning, we were picked up outside our hotel and walked to the market close by, where we met up with Myo Myo who took us on a tour de force round the chaotic - but deeply fascinating - Thursday market, patiently explaining and answering questions about the ingredients.

Later, we drove by tuk-tuk to the familiy's home outside town. A nice, quiet and very clean place, where we cooked the dinner (two curries, two salads and a soup). The tempo was perfect, and we had plenty of time to write down and take pictures of the entire proces. Finally, we settled down to eat a great meal. Myo Myo is a kind and patient teacher, so not only did we learn a lot, but also had a great time along the way.

Highly recommendable, and we look forward to cook some of these dishes when we get home to Denmark again.

A great experience! Myo myo first took us to the market, showing us all the ingredients in the Burmese cooking. Then to her house to learn cutting and pounding garlic, ginger, and onion to make a basic curry sauce. We made aubergine curry and fish ball curry, yellow bean soup and tea leaf salad. She is a wonderful teacher and really loves her country's food. A big recommendation!

Myo Myo loves cooking and enjoys teaching.

The tour in the market followed by explanations makes you understand alot.

If you don't lead to your favorite food but allow Myo Myo suggest things you never tasted before , you may have an experience.

one of the dishes we had was dry salted fish curry.
Not really western taste but we loved it.

Try it.

Good location, very quiet place in the village at the countrysite. Good explaination. Not only cooking class but traditional massage and can make other conversation also. Just seven bicycle from market area.
