Nice village hotel but the surprise was the amazing meals!
The rooms were a good size and clean. Internet was good in most rooms except right on the top floor.

Big suitcases are an issue as there Are no lifts so if your on the top floor it's a haul up to your room.

Poolside service with drinks was OK but like everything in France order your next one when you get the last one.

The outdoor dining was great given the time of the year. The real highlight was the quality of the meals and the size of the portions.
The staff were very helpful although if your English speaking sometimes it is better to have discussions with a couple of the staff if you want something a little out of the ordinary. Eventually we managed to find the right staff member and from their it was easy (we were organising a game of golf at a nearby town).
Considering the pool seemed to be in full sun it was pretty cold!
Recommend this village and motel if your touring.

I would love to be able to give this place five stars (the owners are lovely, hardworking couple) but I'm afraid even three is a push. Restaurant is ok, we had dinners for two evenings, first mediocre, second great.
Now the hotel...good, updated bathrooms, if only we slept in them!
The rest is shabby, dirty, horrible carpets, certain stain coming through the bottom sheet, some rooms overlook busy road, bed linen shocking, pool way too cold, garden needs tlc. The frustrating thing is all the above could be sorted in a week. Like stains on the walls.
Maybe we visited during very busy period. I just don't think it represent good value for money, so sorry. As I said, I really like the owners and the staff is friendly.

We ate here twice as the place was recommended to us. The food was excellent, well cooked and served very professionally with some very touches between the courses. Can recommend the fish, duck and steak as well as any of the local wines especially from Touraine and Cour Cheverny - both quite reasonably priced as well.
Lovely garden terrace to eat in so would recommend to travellers - English is spoken with English menu if required.

Nice friendly staff, rooms are overpriced, cooking is mediocre. Nice located with a spacious garden, not beautiful but very pleasant. Good, not big, swimmingpool; more than five peopleis too much. One of the better places because of its nice atmosphere.

We liked the very friendly staff, the constantly filled fresh fruit bowl and chilled water by reception, the extensive gardens, delightfully disorganized with plenty of nooks and crannies to sit or sleep in the shade. Do taste the wonderful croissants and home made jams for breakfast! Great choice of superbly cooked and presented fish in this heavily carnivorous part of the world. We opted for room at back overlooking pool though larger and more luxurious 'balneo' rooms with Jacuzzi are at front.
