This was a lovely surprise when we dropped in for lunch one Sunday. In spite of us not having booked and perhaps appearing more casually dressed than most of their clientele on a Sunday, they cheerfully fitted us in with a warm welcome (it's probably sensible to book for Sunday lunch as they were very busy). The room overlooks a garden area and is bright and tastefully decorated but even if it wasn't, the food alone is worth the trip. We had wined and dined our way throughout the Burgundy region on this trip and the lunch here was by far the best - imaginative presentation of classics, fresh and tasty ingredients, well cooked. Will definitely be returning on the next trip.

Had dinner with friends on a Friday evening at this nice place. The ambiance could certainly be quite cozy in this nice place but due to lack of guests it was a bit dull. The accueil was nice and the service without fail;
Due de Tartare St. Jacques et Saumon, Gaspacho avec Gambas, Mille feuilles de Chèvres, Lasagne de Coq au vin, Emincé de souris d'agneau and finally the Magret de canard: nothing to complain about except may the fact that the portions are quite big. So there might not be enough room for dessert which are quite tempting.

For my partners anniversaire, we found this little red painted resto on the main road leaving Vosne Romanee for Nuits-St--George and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is actually located in the rear of the building looking out on a pleasant garden - very tranquil. Food, service and wine all excellent - good local wine selection at normal resto prices, as well as excellent burgundian cuisine. Looking forward to a return visit
