Worth it for the view from the water garden alone, these gardens are a must if visiting Limeuil. We spent a really pleasant afternoon here, enjoyed by the adults and children (age 8 & 11) alike. The garden games (such as chess) made the visit really child friendly and as we visited in August there were some tye-dye activities too (included in the entrance price). The staff were really welcoming and friendly and the gardens well-kept and beautifully designed. Another highlight was the educational bee-hive where you can safely watch the honey bees at work. A really enjoyable visit.

At the very top of the village of Limeuil is a very nice part park, part botanic gardens with panoramic views over the valleys. Worthwhile to climb up to them and spend an hour or so browsing.

We were staying just round the corner, so felt duty-bound to visit. The gardens and the views were well presented, and all this in a peaceful garden setting. The beehive was particularly interesting.

You can easily occupy yourself for 2 hours just walking around and visiting the different areas. The views are excellent. I really liked the garden with the mirror in it which really confused our dog.

This is a nice garden, small but well planned, with some great views over the surrounding countryside and rivers. Steep walk to arrive at the entrance!
