visited this place on recommendation. turned up fairly late and the place was packed. waiter friendly and attentive as possible for the busy-ness. chose the set menu for 32 euro with 3 courses. my date really enjoyed her choices, she had the crab soup for starter which was out of this world nice, a lovely brisque, she had the tuna steak for main which was also excellent, Half cooked and on a bed of noodles and won fried veg. lemon and mint meringue for dessert. i chose the foi gras starter which was okay, a nice granny Smith apple compote contrasted well, my main was the steak which was really a disappointment as it was full of gristle and sinew. was cooked perfectly just a bad cut of meat unfortunately and left a lot of it. home made ice cream dessert which was nice. expensive night when the food - really the steak - was sub standard. my dining partner would probably rate highet
