Having booked the Los Gigantes Hotel last minute, I then looked at the reviews of the hotel with some concern believing I may have made a mistake booking this hotel as we are in our mid 40s. The people who reported "coffin dodgers" getting up at the crack of dawn to reserve sun beds were accurate but there were plenty to go round for the more relaxed guests, I watched with envy from my balcony as the elderley guests raced to the poolside each morning. We are well travelled and were delighted by the range of food on offer, the staff are also really friendly. The locals may call the hotel "gods waiting room" but dont be put off as the guests vary in age range and the place does not smell like an old peoples home (no lavender or talc).
Those who compain about this hotel should get real, it is perfectly located if you are seeking peace and quiet in a beautiful location, Go For It.More
