This is a wonderful brasserie/pizzeria. When it's warm you can eat outside in the courtyard. The inside is cosy and welcoming and has an open fire. The menu is small but perfectly adequate and very good value. The portions are huge. Try the Salade Perigourdine (if you like duck) - don't make the mistake I made of ordering another course because you won't need it. Almost all the wines available are local from the Cotes de Duras. I can recommend the organic red wine from the local cooperative (BB Berticot). This is clearly the place where the locals (at times it seems there are as many English expats as the French living in Duras), including the gendarmeriie, like to come and eat. Out of four nights in Duras, I ate there 3 evenings.
