“Nice place, nice rooms, lovely location..”
Reviewed April 29, 2014

Went to the resort for a conference. And it was a good experience.
The location is beautifull, and the hotel has nice rooms.
Meeting facilities were also good.
Breakfast had high standards, but lunch and dinner was a bit tasteless.

Room Tip: Sea view is nice

The hotel is on a cliff with 2 private small beaches (calas) of cristaline water. The rooms have amazing views of the ocean, you could spend your life on the balcony, except you have 2 swimming pools, a lounge bar, a spa, a restaurant, all with also great views to spend time on. The hotel is not far from Palma de Mallorca, you can go to spend the day. There`s also a beautiful harbour nearby with a lot of great restaurants and impressive yatches. Fancy, but beautiful. The service is great with all me amenities and help from the staff. After a whole day on the amazing turquoise beaches of Mallorca, relax sipping champagne by the pool.

Room Tip: With sea views, for sure!!!

Just back from another enjoyable short break away to recharge both mine and my husband's batteries.

Cannot fault the location of the hotel as other have said, once again received a free upgrade to a superior room, which was very much appreciated.

Within walking distance of Palma Nova and Magaluf one way and Portal Nous the other way, all a very gentle walk away.

Excellent bus service connected us to Palma very efficiently costing only 2.45 euros per person each way. especially the 106 which is now an express journey via the motorway taking only 10 minutes to reach the cathedral in Palma.

Breakfasts stunning as usual, evening meal lived up to our expectations. We did only have one evening meal in the hotel, but this is because we chose to eat out in Palma on our other evenings.

Looking forward to hopefully going next October to recharge our batteries again.

Room Tip: Try and get a superior room if you can.

Would agree with other reviewer that hotel is not boutigue but location is so great that it compensates this. We had booked suites but were upgraded to villas. This really made our stay perfect. The sea was so close you could fall aslep to the sound of breaking waves. The villas are duplexes and it was possible to interconnect them so our stay with kids was really comfortable. In villa you share terass so with strangers in other dublex would not have been so nice and private. The hotel has direct access to 2 small beaches from which it was lovely to swim in the still warm sea.
Lunch at poolside was no good, but we were very positivly surprised by the very good breakfast.
Would warmly recommend this hotel. There is a nearby tennis club with fitness and yoga. Perfect walking running and cycling roads to nearby villages. Would recommend Puerto Portals with nice yachts and good restaurants.

Room Tip: The suites are quite far from whe water. Would choose sea view on south side, not overlooking pool...

This hotel genuinely has a nice feel to it. We found reception polite and attentive and processed our check in and out, ordered taxis(2mins) and answered any questions with a smile, not quite USA have a nice day but then a completely different culture and slight language barrier.
The buildings are not new but are on first impressions very presentable. The Superior sea facing room we enjoyed in the main building was very comfortable and quiet.
Three of us enjoyed a quality (210 Euros) three course meal in the restaurant next to the pool and have to say for a hotel it was excellent. Breakfast served on the first floor was a well prepared buffet of enormous variety, yes you have to help yourself to a pot of coffee or tea and make your own toast. The facility at breakfast time is set up for volume and it worked very well in a relaxed easy family friendly way.
Outside the gardens within the Hotel are well kept and attractive and sunbeds were plentiful and un-reservable. The two beaches are safe for swimming and literally 100m from your bedroom down twenty steps or so, therefore easy if you want to pop back to the room to change. Around the pool large double couples or family sunbeds added some style with plenty of single sunbeds and tables and chairs for lunch with and without shade as you wish. We had lunch around the pool and sent a chicken breast back as it was slightly undercooked. This was dealt with quickly and with an apology so given the benefit of doubt.

Easy walk into the local port 20 minutes or so, Palma center around 10 minutes in a taxi and the airport 20 minutes or 32 Euros. Bicycle hire seems popular.

Would we go back, yes if you want an environment which is not to busy, has because of its setting an element of class which makes it four star and a relaxed atmosphere which is very easy and for 320 Euros for two nights away including that breakfast reasonable value for money.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the sea and not over the pool are more private if you wish to sit on the balcony they a...

This is a lovely hotel in a superb location. We have stayed here for many years and have always found the staff kind and helpful and most have been with the hotel for a number of years! A great start to the day is the extensive breakfast and complimentary glass of cava! At dinner there is a wide choice of local food and wine. We had a very nice room on the 2nd floor with a lovely view of the sunrise over the sea. After a thoroughly enjoyable holiday we will definitely be returning next year!

Room Tip: Rooms on the second and third floors have the best views accross the bay.

This is a fantastic hotel which we used to accommodate ourselves and our wedding guests. It is wonderfully located with two small beaches, two swimming pools, spa etc. This is great when you want to give the guests a feeling that they are on holiday. We had one of the lovely villas which had a fantastic view and we tried to eat breakfast on the terrace as many times as possible (breakfast service in the room is included). All our guests loved the place and said it would definitely be somewhere they would come back and stay. We found the level of service to be good and never had to wait long for anything. There are a couple of shortfalls which explains why it is four stars, these are that the food is very average (except for the breakfast) and the place still needs some renovation as some of the furniture is outdated and our villa was in desperate need of a coat of paint.

Having said that we look forward to coming back next year to celebrate our anniversary.

Many thanks.

Room Tip: The villas are wonderful and but if your budget is less then I would always ask for sea views and go...
