We stayed in the azul room in October 2011. It's a beautiful guesthouse set in a tranquil environment with a lush garden, swimming pool and sweeping views of the mountain surroundings. Home made breakfast was good!

A lovely place to stay and deserves all the positive comments posted thus far. It is the kind of place that you do not want to share with others to ensure a room is always available. The rooms have obviously developed and been improved in design as the hotel has grown and the owner gained experience. The gardens are lovely and the breakfast, taken outside, was an excellent standard. Good walking near by. A lovely place to recharge batteries.

Room Tip: Go for a suite

This place was a real discovery. It doesn't look much from the outside but once you go through the entrance it is great. The gardens are delightful. The rooms are lovely and the breakfasts on the threshing mill (as one previous comment said) were a delight

Room Tip: The junior suite is worth going for.

I agree with all the positive comments about this very beautiful place. But we did find the German owner to be somewhat bossy.

Room Tip: We were in one of the rooms in separate ex grain stores, which was beautifully atmospheric, with IKE...

It is hard to imagine a more amazing setting than this converted, restored farm in the middle of fabulous scenery and with its own glorious garden setting. Every detail has been considered and the place speaks of an owner who has his guests' wishes utterly foremost. My wife and I stayed in a suite which was superbly equipped and very private, light and airy, modern and contemporary. Breakfast outside very morning was an affair to be lingered over - excellent food and stunning scenery all around. There is walking to be had from the door and and the small town of Rodalquillar very close by. We will be back!

A very unique hotel in a very special location. One of the most peaceful and restful places in which I have stayed. Our junior suite was immaculately clean and very well designed to give a great deal of privacy. Breakfast outside on the old 'threshing floor' was a delight- the views are amazing and the food delicious. Certainly we are looking forward to returning.

We stayed here for one night whilst travelling through Andalucia and really enjoyed our stay. The location is great, just on the edge of Rodalquilar town, so it feels very isolated, but is only a 5 minute walk into town for places to eat and drink. The hotel setting is beautiful, with pretty gardens and large pool (open 24 hours). The room was a good size and nicely decorated with a private terrace.

The highlight however was the huge, delicious breakfast, eaten on the picturesque terrace with fantastic views out over the valley!
