We have just returned from our holiday in Switzerland. We stayed at the Swiss Chalet for one night whilst on our way to Interlarken. I have booked a double room with a shared bathroom however upon checking in we were given our own bathroom which would have cost an additional £30 which was a great start. I had expected a double bed but we were given two twin beds pushed together. At first I was a little disappointed but actually it was kind of nice having your own bed. The room was very Swiss and was wood from floor to ceiling but it gave the room character and it made us feel like the holiday had started. The staff were amazing and very friendly. There are two separate hotels, the Schloss Hotel and the Swiss Chalet. You check-in at the Schloss Hotel. We found out that although we were staying in the Swiss Chalet across the road we could still enjoy the facilities at the main hoteland got to use the swimming and sauna which were pure luxury. And because of the time of year, we had the pool and sauna all to ourselves. The only slight negative is because the Swiss Chalet is pure wood, it is very noisy. You can hear everything, fortunately we didn't have anyone above us but I could understand from other reviews this could be a problem. But we had been up since 1...More
