Great Hotel. I have been there 3 times and its a great hotel. Room sizes are also great. Our room was a 2 bedroom suite and for the price I think it is a great deal. They have two pools which can be a bit confusing but I find it to be a great value.

Just left the resort after staying five nights. The property itself is beautiful. Our two bedroom, two bath suite was very nice. It was very clean. The housekeepers did a great job servicing the room throughout our stay. One complaint about the room is the tiny trash can in the kitchen area. When there is an actual kitchen area, you would think they would give you something bigger. When we ate in the room, there was never any room to throw anything away.

The lagoon pool was pretty. Our kids enjoyed the waterfall and slide. I saw a couple of employees carrying drinks to people, but we were never asked if we wanted anything. The cantina and bar at the lagoon pool closed early everyday...before dinner time. If they would actually keep it open later, they would sell more drinks and food. We overheard several guests make this comment. We ate lunch at the cantina one day. The waitress never brought our appetizer. The food was ok... Nothing spectacular.

The only restaurant open for dinner was Oceans 3800. The menu did not offer enough "normal" type items to satisfy our family. We asked if they would serve anything off the lunch menu at dinner and were told they would not. They really need at least one restaurant that is more family friendly to stay open during dinner hours. Once again, they would make more money since families would not have to leave the resort during dinner hours.

We attempted to utilize the kids club a few different times. Our kids wanted to make tie dye T-shirts one afternoon. When we got to the kids club, there was only one young employee working. There was a line of kids wanting to make shirts. They only had a handful of shirts. No sizes over medium. Our kids needed larger sizes, so we left. I don't know how that one young girl was planning to help the mass of kids make shirts.

We tried to go back the next day. It was a bad weather day, rain on and off. The kids wanted something to do. There was a sign on the door that said "Closed. See you tomorrow". This was at 10:30 a.m. when the schedule listed an activity at that time.

The day it rained, it eventually cleared up and was pretty during the late afternoon hours. At around 6 pm we went to the lagoon pool. There were no towels out. My husband had to go hunt down towels. The water on the slide was turned off. There were several kids climbing up the slide. Since there was no attendant outside, my husband went inside to ask someone at the front desk about turning the water back on. An employee eventually came outside to let us know they would not be turning it back on because of the weather. She said there were thunderstorm warnings in the area. At this point all of the storms had passed. We even got online and checked the area. There were no warnings for the area.

My husband is a Gold Elite Marriott Rewards member. He stays at lots of Marriott properties. He and I were both underwhelmed by the attitude of the staff. They were not rude by any means, but they did not go out of their way to make guests feel appreciated. Enthusiasm goes a long way. We did not see much enthusiasm in any of the employees. For the price of this resort, people expect enthusiasm. We have stayed at other Marriott resorts that were not nearly as expensive and felt very pampered by the staff. Our family certainly expected much more than Marriott delivered at this property.

Room Tip: We were in room 912 and ad a nice view of the ocean and Infinity pool.

Our suite was dirty - there was food underneath the sofa bed (where my children slept), dirt/thick dust on skirting boards, lights above kitchen counter were thick with dust/grime, bath robes dirty, drawers in bedroom were dirty - we will never stay at this hotel again. House keeping did attempt to rectify the situation but it was far from perfect. I even tried to contact their Executive Housekeeper but without success. We were recommended this hotel by friends and they too will now not recommend this hotel again. It was a busy due to spring break but there is no excuse for dirty rooms when the hotel is charging full rate. On two occasions housekeeping asked us what time we would like turn down service and then never showed. Would return to Palm Beach but definitely NOT stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: We were on the 14th floor - ok "side" !! view of the ocean.

So we went to the Marriott Singer Island for a few days and did not have the experience we were wanting or expecting for the hefty price they ask. Very nice property, clean, upscale, but at the price we paid for the room I would have expected perfection at the very least. It began at valet where we had to get out of our own car, get our own luggage and enter the hotel ... they did hand us the valet ticket and welcomed us, but the began the experience of an understaffed hotel. The room was spectacular, housekeeping was spot on, but then dinner was just ok for the extraordinary price and the steak was overdone. Breakfast took 1.5 hours for an omelet and eggs benedict then only one server at the tiki bar serving everyone at the pool and beach (about 400 guests I would presume).... after a talk to the GM and AGM still no real big resolution, gave me dinner which the steak was overcooked again and decided not to complain but to share my experience with everyone I can. There was an offer for a spa treatment that never appeared and no suggestion to reduce our rate for the overall poor experience. I do have to give great parise to the employees who try really hard under the circumstances. It is clearly apparant that managment was not prepared for this busy week-end and it really put a HUGE damper in everyone's experience.
Please reconsider if you are EVER thinking of going to the Marriott Singer Island.... go someone else for sure!

The resort was sold out when I was there, it was my wife and I and our 8 yr old son. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. Very nice, my balcony was the back of the pool bar no view somebody gets screwed in the room process and it was me. Oh well. The resort being sold out keep in mind that the room I had 3 people were stuffed with 10 people in other like rooms. This makes for a crowded hotel. The pool with the slide is mobbed u can't get a seat if u do and go for a swim, somebody steals it and u have no recourse. Both pools are like this. Very windy when I was there so much debris in the pool. Beach has a volley ball net and chaises u can rent for 30 a day. They have a kid club but if u don't join there is nothing else to do. Ocean and beach are nice
Place starts shutting down outside at 4pm, I never saw a hotel like this. No entertainment that I saw and staff is cleaning the pool at 5pm.
I ate every night at 3800 and found it pricy but very good. Let your waiter know u r a good tipper and they salivate. Really.
Place shuts down at 9, u can't smoke there either. If u get a bottle of wine and go on the balcony chances are you will b surrounded by your neighbors listening to u.
They nickel and dime u on valet, Internet per device, beach chairs, bell hops, etc..
I agree with one reviewer who said this is a hotel not a resort
I think if u r older looking to relax by the shore this is great option. If u r looking for some excitement or a bang for ur buck stay away.

We started our trip to Florida at another hotel and were not happy. We were so lucky to have spoken on the phone with the assistant manager (?) Tom. He did everything he could to help us get a room during their busiest week. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The room itself was perfect. It is well equipped and we loved having the kitchen and washer/dryer. The bathroom is beautiful with a fantastic shower! This hotel has 5 star customer service all around. Every single staff member you encounter wants to help you enjoy your stay. We did not feel the prices were crazy for food at any of the restaurants or shops. The beach (and this hotel is right on the beach) is beautiful and the pools are very nice. They actually cared if one of their guests did not have a chair by the pool and did everything they could to change that. It was a perfect mix of family friendly but yet classy all around. The restaurant, 3800, is very good and we were sorry we never did a chef's tasting. We were treated like royalty and we would go back in a heartbeat.

Great location. Very central to restaurants and shops. Check in was a nightmare. I don't understand why they can't handle the success of being sold out! We were told at check in due to our status free Internet. Not the case .We booked a 1 bedroom and requested a rollaway bed. It was on out confirmation, when checking in we also requested and they said no problem. Well it was a problem. They would not allow it we found out after waiting in room for be to arrive . That was very disappointing. Our teenage kids don't like to sleep together. After we got over the disappointment of the check in we enjoyed the hotel. The valet is pricey but attendants very nice and quick getting your car. The restaurant has an amazing buffet breakfast. Pools are nice. Adult pool is warm. Hotel has a shop that sells Starbucks , candy , salads etc. that was great. We really enjoyed our stay but will not run back. Beach location is fabulous!
