“Lovely restaurant”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

Our favourite of many visited in the North of the island. Ate in the orchard three times, service always good and friendly, and nice menu with innovative and largely organic menu.

Busy every night, hard to get a table (so book in advance) and given it seats probably 200 its that popular.

Our little girl loved the rocking horse in the orchard which she sat on next to our table, (so it was known as rocking horse restaurant !) and they catered for kids really well.

Daytime is also a cafe (although a separate operating team and kitchen) but is just as nice and easy going.

Definitely for those who want the best location and ambience, and a really good holiday experience - consistently good and kept going back.

“not what it used to be”
Reviewed August 14, 2012

When in Spain we always would spend an evening at this lovely place, hidden in a corner of San Lorenzo. The food is (still) good, but they have extended the garden this year in order to cater to more clients. When we were there, there were large table with parents with uneducated, screaming kids. None of the staff said anything. We had to wait for more than 1 hour before the food arrived. The staff is still very friendly but the kitchen cant handle the large number of people.
Very sad, it used to be a great place, but sorry no more. Maybe in off season.

“A very nice place”
Reviewed August 5, 2012 via mobile

Very nice. The "terraza" is very charming. The food was good but nothing really special. Sort
of Italian food, bit pretentious.
The waiters were amiable and efficient. It's located in a very small town, quiet and isolated.

“Overrated”
Reviewed August 1, 2012

The food is good, but overpriced for what it is and doesn't justify a 2 and a half hour wait for main courses. They seem more concerned with profit as they sacrifice service by cramming diners in a restaurant where the kitchen is too small to cope. You have got to feel sorry for the guys in the kitchen - they look like they are worked to exhaustion - just hope the greedy owners share some of profits with them!
