Les Torres Hotel

A friendly chap at Expedia booked this for me saying it was 15-20 minutes outside Barcelona. It was during a conference and there were no hotels left in town.

It is actually about 30 minutes out of town and a 64€ cab ride
You can however take a 10€ cab tothe local station and get a train for a further 3.90 (but bring change for the ticket machine and I do mean coins, not even a 5€ note will do,,,it must be coins!

The hotel is basic but it is clean and the staff are friendly....even arranged breakfast to be delivered to my room.

If you don't mind being outside town with plently of lorries parked nearby then it is worth the trip. Wifi worked fine and the hotel is clean

Writing this from the reception, thanks for the free wifi.
First half the satnavs send you to a back rd in the mountains, stay there if you want a decent sleep.
DON'T get a room in the extension can't say about main hotel but extension has a boiler working all night 3 inches from your bed. The night porter was great and moved but still had the noise. Reception in morning said "we know, I sorry" then bye bye.

Somehow the first room we checked into had a bad sewage smell and a non-functioning air-conditioning. We had the room changed and everything was ok after that. The staff was really lovely and helpful. Hostal rooms are available, which are less expensive than the hotel ones. You might ask for both to compare before deciding. We didn't see any difference between the two, however.

Room Tip: Ask to take a look at the room before checking in. At the moment there are hotels with better value...

Dear Semagora,

Thank you for your review.

In effect, Hostal Les Torres is great value for money. Hostal and Hotel Les Torres, 2 different types of lodging - that could be identified as categories - are probably the best option around the area with good quality at reasonable prizes. Both types are fully equipped. However, hostel rooms are cheaper, as they are somehow austere and less decorated.

We appreciate your positive comments specially the ones regarding the lovely and helpful staff. We are sorry to hear that there was a technical issue in your first room and we are glad to hear that you had a nice experience afterwards.

Thank you again for your comments and I personally hope to welcome you again in the near future,

Best regards,
Vanesa Santana

We stayed here on our way home from staying in Spain for 4 weeks, it in a good location for passing through but it was described as Barcelona.

The Hotel is on the edge of an industrial estate, but not just any old industrial estate, this was described as an IMPORTANT Industrial estate! WOW!

The welcome was excellent, the nice receptionist spoke excellent English and explained everything in that effcient way that you dont often see in Spain.

The rooms were excellent, spacious, clean and with a fridge!

The Hotel was stylish and light and all very pleasant.

However, (there is always a but) the breakfast was a disaster, the lady in charge was a miserable old ***, why do these people work in the service industry? She had no idea!

The food was poor, little of it and cold! How can a nice hotel like this serve COOL, no lets be honest COLD coffee? If it was not for this rubbish breakfast I would have given this hotel an Excellent rating!
