“Very pleasant interlude on Megalong Valley drive.”
Reviewed July 26, 2013

Annual visit to Blue Mountains, with friends drove through Megalong Valley - as none of us has previously visited. Stopped off at the Tea Rooms on a beautiful sunny winter's day - not a cloud in the sky and at 11.30am about 10c.

Not hungry after large b/fast - consequently ordered scones with blackberry jam and cream - for two - shared amongst 4, with accompanying coffee and hot chocolate.

Found a table in the grounds in the sun and thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Service very friendly and efficient - although a bit slow.

Summary > recommended.

“Lovely environment, tasty pies.”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

Visited this place 2 yrs back and made a return again. Loved the meat pies which can be a bit oily. I had apple pie with ice cream this time (around 11 aud). Yummy! If weather permits, it's recommended to sit out. U get to see the cows.

“The worse service EVER!”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

The oddest thing happened to us in this tea house. We went there for cakes with my partner and we ordered an apple pie and scones. Then we also decided to get a tea but we did not feel like having a full one each, so we ordered only one with two cups. They not only did not bring two cups, but when we asked if we could have an extra cup they said the tea is meant to be for one person so we could not have the extra cup! AND THEY DID NOT BRING IT!!!!

For the price they sell their tea and cakes they should kiss the customers feet!
