This hotel is currently going through a lot of renovations, it’s down to one restaurant & 2 bars. The one restaurant open, is a large lower ground (minimal windows) canteen type of room, with no real private areas for any romantic offerings or outside space.

The hotel is massively understaffed and 90% of them are not particularly friendly, so you feel a little of an inconvenience. You end up queuing for everything, no poolside service or pool bar, no waiter service in the bars & service in the food hall is hit & miss.

The room we stayed in was bright, comfy bed, good size private balcony. But our room had some infestation of tiny bugs everywhere and a grubby rug & we were greeted by a cockroach scuttling out of the sink when we first went in. The bathroom towels are threadbare and like sandpaper, so desperately need replacing. It also has a weird photograph of a women prominently placed, that can be quiet haunting.

The food & drink are ok though, with the exception of the coffee, but after 3 days the food becomes very repetitive & has a lack of spice and flavours.
There’s not a lot to do in the vicinity so jump on the local bus to explore. Unfortunately a local road is closed so Mogan which is literally round the corner, is a 20min bus ride, Puerto Rico is easier to get to.
Beach is ok, plenty of watersports & bars open during the day.

From the welcome drink to the stunning room and amazing food, lovely pool and weather, our stay at Suite Princess was wonderful in every way except for one tiny hiccup at the end.

Recommend the Junior Suite Deluxe with its spacious, comfortable accomodation. Large walk in shower. Large beds. Large sofa. Sun beds, table and chairs on the balcony. Air con worked fine (it was 30C) water left in the room every day, along with with tea, coffee and milk supplies. Plenty of room for your clothes and belongings. Kept beautifully clean and bedding changed mid week.

Food. I can't eat onions, leeks and garlic and do not like eggs (except when baked in cakes etc) I never had the same meal twice. Show cooking every evening and BBQ a couple of times for lunch.i have never had so much choice on holiday.

In the evening wine was served in bottles at the table and like all good restaurants one of us got to taste it was good enough.

The pool was fabulous. A good temperature and easy to get in and out of. (I walk with a stick) Sunbeds always plenty, unfortunately some people would move them around, occassionally making it difficult for me to move around.pool towels in the room on arrival with 2 changes allowed at the shop.

Lunch served at the pool bar with choice of seating in 4 areas, inside, alfresco or 2 under cover areas outside. Drinks available all day from the pool bar. Soft and hot drinks self serve and alcoholic at the bar. Brand names every time. Lovely cocktails too.

Happy, smiling courteous staff. Lovely massage with the waves crashing in the background.

The only problem we encountered at the end was the courtesy room. This had a bathroom with a bath tub with shower over and the corridor leading to it. The room itself was locked so no where to put your case and no where to sit. A bit tricky for me with my mobility. No aircon or fan either so by the time we had dried to dress we were as wet as when we stepped out of the shower.

Wow what a holiday. The hotel was amazing, so clean and tidy. Our room was fabulous with stunning views. Mostly the food was brilliant considering the numbers of guests that they were catering for. There was only one poor night where the food was themed, so if you didn't enjoy chinese/Indian then the choice was limited. Occasionally the food could have a little warmer.
The staff were always very friendly and helpful.
Brilliant time. Would highly recommend the hotel especially if you want to sun worship.

The hotel was very clean and the rooms were very big with a lounge area and large balcony facing the sea. There was only one mirror in the bedroom, which was the wardrobe door and it could have done with another one over the desk.
Food was good, with plenty of choice. We went to the 'romantic Spanish meal' and there were able to provide vegetarian options for me.

The pool was nice and refreshing but the sunbeds were very close together so you did feel a bit hemmed in. Also no music round the pool except from when they did the aqua aerobics each morning, when exactly the same songs were played!

There is not really anything to do in Taurito apart from swim in the sea. We visited Port Mogan by bus which was easy to do and much cheaper than getting a taxi.

Not sure whether I would return as prefer somewhere with a bit more atmosphere but it is a lovely hotel.

Just returned from a great 2 weeks at this adult only hotel. We had a deluxe junior suite which offered plenty of space and comfort. First impressions of our suite were very favourable although as time went on we did notice a couple of minor issues which in no way detracted from our overall experience. Every room has a sea view looking out over the pool. The pool area was reasonably big but the number of sunbeds made it feel quite cramped but this is no major hassle. Although the hotel was very busy, we had no problem getting a sunbed each day. As usual, some people were out before the sun was up reserving beds but if you wanted a bed in a specific area then that's what you need to do. As the saying goes "if you can't beat them, join them". Previous reviews we read complained of smokers encroaching in the non smoking area but from what I observed this was because the smoking area was full of non smokers!
Breakfast and dinner are self service in the main restaurant which, in the evening, can get very busy aroung 8:30. If you like to eat late then be prepared for a short wait. The food was plentifull and varied. Drinks were served at your table with a wide selection of wines available. The wine was served by the bottle and was of good quality. There were a number of themed night as well as show cooking. People complain about the tables being too close together but we didn't think it was a problem. Lunch is served in the tapas bar next to the pool area. It had a bar where you could get drinks if you didn't want to use the self service points for wine, beer and soft drinks. There is also a sports bar adjacent to the tapas bar where there are self service point for wine, beer and soft drinks. The piano bar opens at 6 in the evening. All the bars serve a wide selection of premium drinks as standard. There is also an a la carte restaurant which is open Tuesday to Thursday. You need to reserve a table at the main restaurant. We didn't use it but it was always busy. The hotel also runs a courtesy bus once a day to nearby Mogan. You need to book this on a Friday as that is market day, but otherwise just show up and you should get a seat. The hotel is immaculately clean and all the staff we encountered were friendly and attentive. We did have some reservations before going because of mixed reviews we had seen but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
