My husband and I arrived home early this morning having spent a wonderfully relaxing week at this lovely hotel. We upgraded to black band and our room was 9012 with a wonderful view, the room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent. The food is superb and of good quality with a varied menu you really would need to be extremely fussy not to find something to eat. The entertainment was better than we expected it to be which was a nice surprise. There was a good mix of age groups we thought, not all over 50's as some reviews had said. If we had anything to complain about it would be as mentioned in previous reviews and that would be lack of toilet facilities in the public areas. We also found the towels a bit small, we prefer bath sheets as opposed to bath towels. There are areas in the hotel that could probably do with a spruce up and we did notice a small area of carpet in the atrium on the 1st floor that was frayed and could have caused a trip hazard, but these are all very minor niggles and in no way spoilt our holiday. The staff were all extremely helpful and always smiling even at the end of a long day! Unfortunately the resort would be the reason we won't be going back we stayed at the sister hotel across the way 3 years ago and the area outside the hotel was much nicer, but this time we found the level of neglect quite sad. The railings were badly rusted and the lovely lights we remembered were in such bad repair they don't work. It's a real shame because the Suite Princess ranks amongst one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in.

Room Tip: The higher the better.

This hotel was absolutely amazing and cannot fault the place one bit. On arriving we were greeted with a bottle of wine, bottle of honey rum, box of chocolates and a fridge stocked with water. The bed was massive and the room incredibly spacious and kept spotlessly clean and the air conditioning was a welcome benefit.Toiletries supplied as well as beach towels, dressing gowns and slippers.Sun loungers on the balcony which was a little sun trap. An incredible sea view and view of the water park across the way. The Suite Princess is a complex so you need never leave - the only time we did was to visit Aqualand. No children was an extreme benefit and there were plenty of sun loungers and the pool was a dream. A private beach also! The food was utterly amazing, plenty of choice and a different menu each of our 7 nights. Breakfast, lunch and dinner I can honestly say was BETTER than that I received on a cruise liner. I was able to stick to my diet! Drinks available on tap, 4 choices of where to drink and a great area to socialise - we met a couple who we will stay in touch with and cemented our friendship by going parasailing together on the private beach. Upon check out we were also able to book a room for free for a shower before our coach collected us.I cannot fault the hotel, the staff, reception or any part of my Suite Princess experience and would like to say a big thank you and a recommendation of the highest and a million points for the food. Thank you Suite Princess, missing you already.

My husband and I returned from the Suite Princess on Monday after a wonderful week celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary. I did read reviews about the majority of guests being older but we found there to be a good mix of ages from very early twenties up to seventies. We did upgrade to a Royal Suite and had a room on the 8th floor directly looking out over the ocean with a massive bed (We have a super-king at home and this was even bigger!!) The hotel is very clean and we always saw staff working to keep it spotless. After reading reviews prior to going, we did take other reviews on board about transfers and booked a taxi transfer. I am so glad that we did as it only took around 30 mins. We were on black bands and to be honest we found the Cava on tap much nicer than the bottled. The plus for us was that we drink vodka and they had Smirnoff, other than that we drank the lager on tap with sprite as the cider was too sweet (hubby and I are mostly cider drinkers). There is a bus stop down the road from the hotel and the buses are very cheap and frequent. Biggest tip: If you ring home and are calling a land line, use the phone in your room. Trust me, a lot more cheaper than the payphones! I rang home 3 times (10 mins each time) and it cost me 2 Euros in total. Only negative was that the "Sports Bar" in the hotel didn't show any sport whilst we were there, despite an England football game being on and a lot of guests asking if they were going to show it.
We did excursions to The Music Hall Tavern which was truly one of the funniest nights we have had out in a long time. The Premium Island Tour which takes you into the heart of the Island and into the mountains, not so good if you get travel sick or have a phobia of heights as you go pretty high up but worth the views. We had a very clear day and got to see both Tenerife and Fuerteventura in the distance. We also went on the dolphin/whale watching boat and for me this was the highlight of our holiday as it is something I have always wanted to see. The Thomsons reps John and Mel were lovely and very helpful with anything we needed, they even kindly slipped a card under our door congratulating us on our anniversary which we found a nice touch.
Would we return? Absolutely if coming back again on our own, however we do have a 13 year old so will be returning to Gran Canaria but in a different hotel.

Room Tip: Do email the hotel and put in a request for whatever room you are after as they will try to help.

We returned from the Suite Princess on Friday after a 10 day break. The Hotel was clean and modern, the room (8th floor) was roomy, airy and clean, with a massive and very comfortable bed. The food was great and available in different venues throughout the day...there was never a chance to get hungry.
The staff were excellent - every single member of staff was helpful, friendly and a credit to the excellent manager Norberto.
We booked with Thomsons and the two Thomson Reps John and Mel, couldn't have been more helpful, informative or enthusiastic.
This is not the type of holiday that we would normally book, but we enjoyed every minute. We did however hire a car so we could get out and see the island as the hotel complex is situated in such a place that you can't walk from, but there are excellent Public transport links, a complimentory shuttle bus daily to Puerto Morgon and very resonanbly priced taxis - so if you don't want to hire a car, you can still get out and about.

This hotel was lovely! A beautiful room, with a fabulous view. The staff at the hotel were polite and friendly, making you feel welcome and at ease. the food at the hotel was good. It was in a great location, not far from the beach, and there was always something going on in the hotel. Activities such as aqua golf, archery and darts, run by the entertainment staff. In particular Aitor and Javier worked well as a team and made you feel at ease when attempting to do the activities. Most evenings there was a show or a quiz, reasonable entertainment.

I meant to write this review after staying at this hotel for Xmas and New Year 2013/14, but time really manages to slip past very rapidly.

This is a lovely hotel. Beautiful rooms, wonderful friendly and efficient staff, good entertainment and the food is second to none. Absolutely faultless.

We were so happy and relaxed there that on arriving back in the UK I booked immediately for this Xmas and New Year.

Here I rest my case. It is summed up in a nutshell. Try it and see for yourselves.

Room Tip: We had a room on the first floor (ground to you and I) and despite everything being on that floor...
