This is a true old school Fitzroy kind of place. With recycled crates as furniture and lots of Little Golden Books to take you back to your childhood days. The way the cakes are laid on in the bar top is reminiscent of a baking afternoon that your mother may have once indulged in. All of the food is yummy and the coffee is arguably one of the best anywhere in the coffee great city of Melbourne. It is my weekend stop off for its great avocado toast and coffee. The food is a bit expensive but it is so yummy I justify the price to myself each week as I go back for more. And recently they have added a cute little outdoor area that will be great for summer. Admirable work! Keep it up!

Went to grace on a friends recommendation and wasn't disappointed, they make the best coffee and their choc brownie is to die for. The service is great as we'll the staff make you feel very welcome. The location is good cos it's a bit out of the way of the business on brunnie st so that's nice. Will refs be coming back!

Four of us went to Grace café on the recommendation of friends. It really is a great little place for breakfast/brunch. The waiting staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was lovely. There's not a great choice but they make that up in quality. All of our meals-Mexican beans, brat and the egg dish were great, and it didn't overfill you, just right.
It is very basic in décor, but a great place to meet and chat. I would recommend a visit for sure. On weekends, the Rose street market is a few doors down.
