There's a $65 per person deal at this stylish-looking French-inspired eatery but you'd need to be seriously hungry to eat it all. The food leans towards a more rustic style of cooking rather than fine dining and the charcuterie selection in particular is excellent. The house wines are reasonable value, sourced from Margaret River (one red, one white) and bottled under the Roubaix label - reflecting the town in France that is the destination for the feared 'Hell of the North' cycle race. It's a good spot for groups and it's open late, with a supper menu on offer from 10pm.

Well, we read the critics' reviews in not one, but three different publications, we checked out the menu online and the gallery, we made our booking, taste buds at the ready! From the initial welcome to the wow of walking through the various rooms and marvelling at the décor and to the service throughout our meal, we simply can't fault this restaurant. The food was well paced, the serves perfect for sharing, the wine list intriguing. A prawn taster to start, wrapped in rice paper, crisped and with a delish dipping sauce was an early highlight. The standout mains were a soufflé and a john dory seafood combination (the whole fish fillet accompanied with other sea delights) and as a side with the soufflé (great suggestion by our waitress as to where to pair it) an orange salad. Not too many dishes, but still we decided dessert would be for another time, we'd had elegant sufficiency and I mean elegant. Heavenly.

Classical French bistro cooking, thoughtful wine list. Front of house staff are bright, informative and unsnooty. Duck rillettes and crema brûlée were outstanding. Casual but elegant little rooms.

Every plate was 10 out of 10. The food was delicious. Matching wines provided by helpful waiter Lochlan perfect. Fantastic venue with great ambience. Great way to spend 4 hours on a Sunday.

Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Small but very interesting menu. The service was excellent, fresh, and very helpful, unusual for a French restaurant!!
Unusual wine list, most of which were unknown to us. We selected a Margaret River red, which was more than acceptable. so were the next few bottles.
The food was served, as suggested, to be shared. This was a great way to eat. It was all excellent.
