There are a few things I have liked about this cafe-bar from the many times I have visited it. Firstly, the food comes across as something that fills the gap for a delicious lunch. It doesn't matter whether you order a pizza or a burger or whatever. It is priced to expectation for a good cafe and the coffees are well made.
As well, there is that "cool vibe" that is carried through with the ambience and music and the place doesn't become too jam-packed when it is busy. It even serves well as that "second office" with plenty of room to work at with that laptop alongside the free Wi-Fi Internet that works properly. The staff are very responsive to your needs and are very courteous and interested in you as a customer.
It comes across as a place you can be at for lunch or to use as an "office away from the office" without having to be seen as being "Fitzroy cool".
