Positive points:
- Peace and quiet
- More seats than guests at the pools
- Relaxed atmosphere
- Self service 24/7 bar
- Good location to explore the rural north of Ibiza

Remarks (no real negative points):
- Wifi is slow but not really that much of an issue (you're not here to surf the internet all day)
- Fountain on small pool was switched off
- Be sure to rent a car since you will have to go out for dinner every night!
- Be sure to keep your AC running if you have a room below the roofs

Room tip: The suite has an excellent view

This gorgeous place is more like a scattering of villas than a hotel and is perfect if you want nothing more than to chill in the sun by the pool, with an amazing view and surrounded by the sound of cicadas. I did, so it was perfect! Definitely try to get a suite with a sea view. There are two pools, one of which is an infinity pool overlooking spectacular rolling hills and the sea.

Beds are really comfortable - memory foam pillows! - and rooms cleaned/fresh towels etc daily. The honesty bars are well stocked but it's cheaper to put your own booze in the fridge there or in your room.

Real mix of people: couples, families, friends. Definitely no groups of party people! You'll need to hire a car the whole time you're here: if you're not having the (quite expensive) breakfast then the port is a 2 min drive away where there are several breakfast type places. In the port there is a restaurant with a sandy floor on the right by the sea which does amazing, and cheap, salads and pasta. Do NOT go to the fish restaurant: overpriced, mediocre food and poor service.

Cas Pla is about a 10 min drive from wonderful Benirras bay - amazing sunsets, drummers, dancers, and a lovely cool restaurant called Elements: seriously delicious food and not as expensive as you might think. The north of the island has such a peaceful, chilled out vibe, which Cas Pla massively contributes to. San An and Ibiza Town are only a 20/25 min drive away but if you want rustic luxury, a pool to yourself even in high season, windchimes and to feel as though you're guests in someone's enormous home rather than in a hotel, this is for you. Absolutely loved it.

This hotel is simply wonderful. With only a few rooms it feels (and is) really exclusive and quiet. There's a relaxed and calm atmosphere, plenty of areas where you can be by yourself, two pools, an honesty bar (and honesty bar!) where you can simply help yourself to drinks and a good breakfast area which served delicious food every morning. It's the perfect escape where you can relax, unwind and recharge your batteries. The hotel is situated at the end of a mountain track, but it's only a short drive to the nearby town - which you will need for lunch and dinner. A welcome relief from the massive all-inclusive hotels with people everywhere - this is a beautiful, beautiful place and we'll be back!

Room tip: Rooms by the infinity pool are stunning but all are great, individual and rustic.

First stop was Caspla Ibiza and boy was it worth the hike up the hill and highway. If you decide to take our advise and book a few day’s here remember; to workout your transportation to this secluded retreat before you make your way to the town of San Miguel de Balanzat! Unless your not afraid to hitchhike to the glorious destination in the hills of Ibiza. We started our week in Ibiza at CASPLÁ Ibiza. The ladies needed to unwind from city life a bit and this was the quintessential off the beaten track location. more http://stylecartel.com/travel-tuesday-escape-caspla-ibiza-hotel/
