We were disappointed on arrival at the villa. The photographs make it look new and modern whereas in fact it is dated and tired with unkempt gardens. The gate to the property was broken which prevented us from putting the car out of the sun under the car port. There is no table tennis table as is shown in the photograph. The Master bedroom is the only bedroom upstairs with a bathroom that does not have a walk in shower - just a corner bath with shower attachment to the taps. We did not use this the whole holiday and used the shower downstairs which was not very convenient on occasion. It would have been far less convenient had there not been just the two of us since this bathroom served the other two twin bedrooms on the ground floor. Not sure where the (Sleeps 7 comes from, unless one of the sofas in the sitting room is used). The satellite TV advertised did not received sky - not that we particularly wanted TV but the election was on in the UK! The terrace furniture was tired, the table covered in a plastic cloth that could not be removed as it was stapled to the table. There were no cushions to any of the very basic plastic chairs. We had to go out and buy silly things like tea towels which had been forgotten.
Having said that, we could easily walk to the shop and restaurants in Cala Torret and it was an easy walk to the beach also and the sun shone!
The pool was a joy, a good size and the 'pool man' came twice a week to maintain it.
It was also a pleasure to have air-conditioning in the bedroom, though this was noisy.
We understood from the owner, who was charming, that the property was up for sale which may have been why it felt neglected. Any sign of luxury or even comfort were alas missing. It was perhaps unfortunate that this is what we were expecting, but that was entirely down to the photographs that have been presented to advertise the property. For what was there we thought it expensive, especially as there were only two of us. We enjoyed our stay but would not stay there again.
