This is a lovely little restaurant in the heart of the village twon of Palaia, near Peccioli, Tuscany. The food is superb and varied and the pasta was to die for! The steaks which unless you have a huge appetite are worth sharing and were excellent. The staff were friendly and halpful with meals choices and spoke reasonable English which helped. Not a lot of choice for a Vegetarian but this is Tuscany a meat eaters paradise.
Our only hiccup was on paying as they refused to split the bill into two payments (we were with friends), saying this was not done in Italy (untrue we have done this many times). We suspect it was because they did not want two credit card charges!
It wouldn't stop us eating there again but we would probably pay in cash, so beware or perhaps state at the start you require 2 bills.
