Totally enjoyed my weekend here. The room was very spacious. Breakfast and dinner were delicious but my experience was made most enjoyable by the courteous staff. they could not do enough. From early morning at breakfast through spa treatments, dinner and later in the bar they were all extremely pleasant. Well done!

Couldn't rate this place highly enough food accommodation and service all excellent. Lovely thermal suite that's free for guests! Great spot for heading into city too. Must also mention The Mint Leaf restaurant that the receptionist recommended - fab food at really reasonable rates!

Very Pleasant staff, nice decor, spacious bedrooms and really good food – overall very pleasant and enjoyable experience. Only complaint was a noisy fridge in our room (that woke us during the night) and strong smell of smoke in the corridor outside our room…. Oh and the noise of aeroplanes passing over, only when bedroom window was open. The delicious breakfast made up for any minor annoyance...

I stayed here for a two night break last October. The weather was terrible so we stayed inside the whole time. The service in the restaurant was really superb and every member of staff we encountered had a welcoming smile and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The spa was a very relaxing place to spend a few hours. We both work in the Hotel business in Galway and were blown away with high level of customer service here, Thank you.

If you are looking for a relaxing weekend then I would definitely recommend Dunboyne Castle. Check-in was quick and easy and the reception staff were more than helpful. The room was spacious & clean, with bathrobes provided. The tea/coffee tray is basic but the mini-bar has been emptied for guest use which is handy. Wine glasses are also provided in the room.

Breakfast is a standard mix of cooked/continental - but of a good standard. I would highly recommend dinner in the Ivy Restaurant - good food, good wine & good service. Food in the Sadlier Bar was ok, but nothing special, and there wasn't much atmosphere in the bar.

The gym isn't massive but has exactly what you need (mixture of cardio machines / free weights etc) for a workout.

The spa is fab - we spent an entire afternoon relaxing by the pool. The changing rooms are lovely, and you don't need to book a spa treatment to make use of the facilities. There is a juice bar - however this is simply a room with jugs of fruit juice / water for self service. You can use the pool, sauna, steam room, hot room or even the outside hot tub!

Throughout our stay the staff were friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the hotel with a balcony

Just wanted to say myself and my chicks went to Dunboyne Castle last weekend and from booking the event right through the whole process we all found the staff amazing, friendly, Helpfull and really couldn't do more for us.It was a very busy weekend up there with bigger events and we where made feel just as important as everyone else from check in to check out. Staff in the Cellar and Terrace bar's where friendly and pleasant. Staff in the Spa where lovely and our spa treatments where perfect, facilities where well kept and ticked every box. Overall everybody had a wonderful weekend and to be honest the staff helped make it for us and we thank Dunboyne Castle for that and would recommend Dunboyne Castle for any event,

Lovely location, welcome a bit sterile but room, breakfast and Bar Service first class. Although we ate in Slevins in Dunboyne (excellent service and food) our friends felt the restaurant was a bit pricey for what
They had. Rooms overlooks a lovely woodland with lots of rooks to keep you amused even at 6am when they start their day ! Would stay there again no problem.
