“Prepare to feel alive....”
Reviewed July 26, 2014

This is an amazing place! Virtually untouched by commercialism with a raw and powerful vibe of life. Make sure to swim in the waters and jump off a cliff or two. Bring your own shade and plenty of fresh water but lunch is easily obtainable at the Safari Bar. Yes, the Safari Bar....it's kickass and you'll love the sangria.

Plenty of bike trails and great scenery....

Have fun!

“Words are poor”

If you appreciate nature in its beauty and peace you won't be looking further. Do not be afraid of bumpy narrow roads, each of them is taking you to some jewel of nature.

“What a brilliant experience”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

We hired bicycles from RC in Medulin. The owner was very helpful. We cycled to the park and through and around it. There were splendid views everywhere. We had a dip in the sea at the very southern point, the sea is a little rough there, but it was good fun. Cycling is absolutely free, but one can take a motorbike or car in for a reasonably small fee. Cycling or walking is the way to go though (it is quite big, so walking will take some time). It is gravel, so be careful when cycling and/or take a mountain bike.

“Lots of options!”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

karmenjak is filled with beaches and places to explore. It's worth a day trip and if you like, you can camp in the park at designated spots which means you can have your choice of swimming and hiking adventures. A great first intro to swimming in the adriatic!

“Absolute must see in Istra”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

Kamenjak is truly one of the last unspoilt parts of Istria.
After paying the entrance fee (it's worth 35 kn/car...) there is a few miles of dirt road, The most beautiful visit is with mountain bike. Peninsula is dotted with small beaches - some of which are difficult to access, those at the beginning of the peninsula offering the possibility of shadow too.
My suggestion is to visit the cape in the morning (opens at 7:00), and make the round trip from the bar Safari to the end of the Cape and back. Routes are marked excellent (already it is hard to lose). After refreshing at the bar, you find a beach for our custom. In the evening, visit dinosaur tracks (shorter circular path near the entrance).

I recommend to carry food and water with you, although it can also be purchased at several places.
