We visited this national park twice during our summer holiday in Verudela. I was here back in 1997 and was anxious to see how much has changed. The good thing is that the environment and water quality has not changed. It's fantastic. You can basically find any type of beach / cove depending on your taste or preferences. If you have kids I would recommend you the beach "Pinizule" , "Plovanije" or "Debeljak" as they have a nice access to shallow water. "Krsine" has somewhat a more difficult access down the water but once you get stationed there it's very accomodating and fun especially for the kids. We went there with a 1yo baby and were fine so you will be too! If you would like to explore a small cave right on the sea or try jumping off the cliffs then "Kolombarica" is the one for you. You can find at least 2-3 bars on the island (njive, safari ,...) where you can get basic croatian stuff to drink and eat. We did not try it therefore cannot comment on the quality. The entrance fee to the national park is 35kuna per car per day. Unless you go at least 6 times during your stay, it's not worth buying anything else than an individual day ticket.
