“Amazing views, quality hotel!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 30, 2013

We have just finished our second stay at Bozica this year as we enjoyed our first trip so much. The whole experience has been just as memorable if not more so than our first and the hotel staff have a lot to do with this.

This time we took our 3 month old baby with us, and although a little concerned as it was our first overseas adventure as a family, we needn't have worried. Bozica had everything covered. From a selection of car seats for the transfer (even though we used our own) to a fantastic ready made cot in our room, which we had not arranged as we were taking a small pop up travel version. The staff throughout could not have been more helpful and supportive.

We even had a chilled bottle of wine waiting for us in our room on arrival - (I'm guessing as we've booked twice in a year - nice touch!)

Our room was beautiful, spotlessly clean and with views to die for. We will definitely be returning.

One thing we would advise, is to take insect repellent when visiting the island as we were bitten a few times throughout our stay. Again though Bozica helped us with this by lending us some bite relief cream!

Room Tip: Worth paying a bit more for sea view and/or balcony - we had B11

Dear Guest, We are so glad you and your family enjoyed your stay with us! Although mosquito bites can be quite irritating, we´ve heard that they tend to more often bite sweeter people. We will stock up on bug spray for the season. Thank you for your sweet review and hope to see the little pup soon! Kind Regards.

What a fab find! We stayed for a week at the beginning of October & came home feeling totally relaxed. Arrival by speedboat set the tone for the holiday - it was all very special! The hotel only has about 22 rooms, so never feels crowded. The staff are attentive & friendly.

Breakfast offered an excellent spread with cooked options and good coffee. Tables outside were tempting, but only if you can ignore the wasps - it was that time of year! We ate dinner in the hotel on 3 occassions and thoroughly enjoyed it each time. Service was impeccable and the food delicious, although I agree that a changing menu would be welcome if you ate there every night.

We had a balcony room, not particularly spacious, but a really comfortable bed & a lovely view over the bay which was a pleasure to wake up to. The bathroom was spotless and there was always lashings of hot water.

We used the ferry & the local bus to get around, but also spent a lot of time just relaxing in this beautiful location. I would certainly return.

Room Tip: Get a balcony room to fully enjoy the fabulous location

Dear Guest, We are overjoyed that you spent a wonderful holiday in Hotel Božica. Since we are a small family owned hotel, consideration and attention to detail are a necessity. We hope that the next time you plan on visiting us, there will be no wasps. Thank you for your thoughtful review! Kind regards.

Having read all the fantastic reviews,my expectations were high!! This hotel did not meet my expectations.
location: beautiful and peaceful. The crystal blue waters are great for swimming. It is VERY picturesque
Rooms:clean but small for the price. Room was interconnecting and noisy
Service: The staff all spoke English and were polite. However, had to ask for menus and to order on two occasions. On checking in, the receptionist was friendly but told us nothing about the hotel or the area or about things to do. I asked for an Iron and none was available, you would think this is standard in any Hotel.
Food; Restaurant is lovely, tasty food but for a change go to the three sisters next door.
Breakfast: Great choice BUT what is with not setting the table and doing a coffee/tea service. You spend all morning up and down getting table set and to refill coffee..
Generally it is a nice hotel but you would expect alot more from reviews and price.

There just aren't enough superlatives to describe how wonderful this hotel and its location are! Bozica is the perfect place to unwind and experience nature at some of its most beautiful. Our hotel dining menu included seafood that could not be fresher or tastier, and portion sizes are more than generous - breakfast could have also catered as lunch and dinner! Spotlessly clean though rooms yes, a little ‘snug’, most have the most wonderful panoramic sea views and on a clear night, vision is perfect for star gazing as there is so little light pollution. Would we return? A big fat YES !!

As everyone else has stated Bozica is an exceptional hotel for the price, clean, friendly and perfectly located. Staff speak exceptionally good English and cannot do enough to help you. It is definitely worth getting the airport transfer as you can't help smiling as you arrive by speed boat. We found the hotel food to be the best on the island, and very good value for money, although the menu doesn't change much, the local wine is also worth trying. The sea is stunning perfectly clear and warmer than the swimming pool even on a rainy day!
We stayed in one of the attic rooms (B31) which was the only disappointment of our holiday as even at barely over 5ft I couldn't stand in the majority of the room, and the smell from the drains in the bathroom wasn't pleasant either. There is also no tea and coffee making facility in the rooms. That said, the beds were comfy, and the blackout blinds worked a treat. If your not going to be in there much I wouldn't worry about upgrading. And the WiFi, although a little intermittent did work in our room, as did the aircon.
People are really friendly on the island and in the hotel, this is a great place to relax but in the event of a rainy day or two there isn't much to do, so make sure you pack some books. On sunny days the hotel does have one kayak available and there were plenty of sun loungers on the concrete they've made a beach. The whole place is very tidy and well kept, a beautiful retreat I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Room Tip: If money is no object get a balcony room, booking in advance is cheaper than upgrading once you'...

Stayed at this hotel 2 years in a row....on a beautiful island an hour from Dubrovnik. One road and very few cars, very few tourists, fabulous food. Boutique hotel ...make sure you have room with a nice balcony.

Wife and I came here to chill for a week. Thats exactly what we got relaxation with a capital R from the moment of the airport pick-up (arranged by the hotel at no extra charge) to the drop off at the end of our week. The hotel is on the island of Sipan and transfer from the mainland is by speedboat impressive and spectacular. The hotel staff all speak adequate English and are friendly and efficient but unobtrusive but will willingly provide information or organise excursions on request. The accomodation and the facilities are excellent as is the food. the only very minor crticism I would have is that the menu did not change throughout our stay not even by the addition of daily or chefs specials.
Would we go back again? Yes definitely!!

Room Tip: All rooms have a sea view
