We have just returned from 2 weeks in this beautiful place and had a wonderful holiday. The villa is lovely, spacious, spotless and really well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The photos do not do it justice, it's been improved since they were taken. The owners were there to greet us with homemade food and refreshments and could not have been more helpful or welcoming during our stay, they were absolutely lovely. The location was great, 30 minutes to some lovely beaches, Trogir is nearby and is a really pretty, small town to wander around with a market, nice restaurants and bars (and two big supermarkets). Krka National Park is also nearby and absolutely stunning. The villa is a great base to explore from with a really lovely pool which we all loved, two lovely terraces and a built-in bar-b-que. The village is small, quiet and really pretty with amazing views and a bread van that arrives at 10.30am every morning. Will hopefully be going back next year!
The Villa looked exactly the same as in the pictures. The owners were there to meet us on our arrival with some veg from the garden and a bottle of wine!. They offered to meet us at the airport if we had wanted. We had an amazing two weeks. Definately need a car to stay here. However, the access to motorway is about 20mins drive. Loved the fact that although the villa was up a mountain in a small village it was only 25mins drive from Split airport. Owners were very helpful and hospitable. Enjoyed getting fresh bread every morning from the bread van which comes to the village about 10/10.30am every day. Pool was great and 10yr old loved this, although there is no shallow end as such. Property was very private and plenty of outside space to sit. Also had own parking space. We explored Croatia whilst there. We played tennis and went climbing. All of which was easy to access and do. Found eating out very reasonable due to Croatia not being in the euro. Excellet food and value for money. If self catering there is a Lidils supermarket when you leave the airport. This is on route to the Villa as well. I would suggest shopping here unless you head to Split where you will find the larger supermarkets. Closest town is Trigor.
