We stayed on Tues 12 March 2013 Studio 2 Everything you could wish for in accommodation. I think because it is also a Cookery School/vineyard the room had a fridge microwave and place settings for two, although we didnt use any of them. Clean modern, Wifi woodland walk, Improving all the time, just off the motorway, The restaurant and Bistro was not open on this night, but if you visit in the early summer it will be amazing Loved it !!, Two local pubs nearby

Room Tip: Studio 2 has a large bed with all facilities, adjoining studio 1 if you have children There are al...

Admittedly this review is a little out of date in relation to when we stayed there but this is the first time I've have the chance to post it so here it is... we stayed there in August 2012 having seen it on the channel 4 programme Four in a Bed. The welcome from the reception was warm and friendly and the hotel met all our expectations wiht regard to decor etc.
We had a very nice lunch in the dining room and were able to use the afternoon to explore the extensive grounds ( woodland and lake with huge fish) plus a stroll up and down the very neat vineyard.
We paid for wine tasting which promised 3 different tasting glasses of wine each and were looking forward to hearing about the wine and the general set up there. However, it was all a bit of a non event, we only actually tasted 2 types of wine ( they had run out of one type) and we felt it was all a bit rushed.
We moved onto our dining table and very disappointedly had a very fatty piece of lamb( which you wouldn't expect on two counts really- the cost of the dish and the fact we were in Wales!) To be fair to Llanerch, as compensation, they did not charge us for the desserts but coupled with the wine tasting, did leave us feeling slightly disappointed.
Having said that,we did have an enjoyable stay, our room was of a high standard but perhaps we were just unlucky, we're sure on the whole, most people would have a very nice stay here.

Is excellent. There is accommodation set out like little cottages and a cookery school and the restaurant. There is. Room called The Cwtch with a log burner comfortable sofas and chairs where you can enjoy a glass of wine or tea and coffee. The restaurant is light and airy and looks Out over the vineyard, you can also eat outside on very nice wooden tables and chairs.Their secret is the excellent staff they employ. Fe is one lady I will mention, she is a warm friendly and thoroughly nice lady , well done!

Stayed at Llanerch Vineyard for one night in February in the Perle Room. Very comfortable double bed, brilliant lighting, good tea making facilities. Ensuite bathroom was lovely, shower over the bath, oodles of hot water and good design apart from the loo roll hiding behind the door!!! The most divine porridge for breakfast. A really lovely homely place that I would love to visit in summer when the vines are full of grapes!!!

Really scenic surroundings ina tranquil area. The vineyard is modern and decorated to a high standard. What makes this place special were it's staff. We had a go at wine tasting their own produce, known as their Cariad wines. We went into Cardiff city centre for the evening but looking back on it we should have stayed in because the taxi into town was a tad expensive (about £25 one way).

We were late for breakfast but the staff were so friendly that they russled something up for us anyway.

All in all it was a brilliant and I would definately go back.

A warm welcome to a beautiful setting and excellent accommodation. We stayed in the stable room. It was tastefully furnished with all the needs attended to. Pristine en suite, lovely toiletries.

Our evening meal and breakfast were excellent. The welsh lamb beautifuly cooked and flavoursome.

The staff were very friendly and attentive.

The cookery course was also excellent and well worth a return visit.

We will be returning.
