“Superbly wined and dined”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2012

Called in for one night stay with family on the way back to north Wales. Great welcome by the owner Ryan Davies. Great location just outside Cardiff, with a working vineyard and woodland walk with two little lakes. Really good dinner served in the conservatory (excellent fillet steak), we started off with a lovely bottle of their own sparkling blush wine, which could hold its own against any french sparkling! Staff very friendly and efficient. Would recommend very highly

I had been staying in central Cardiff every week for over 6 months but was paying £90+ a night and lots more in Cab fare. A friend suggested Llanerch Vineyard and I have been staying once a week for over 7 weeks now and love it! The rooms are a great size, the bedding and linen are nice and they use White Company toiletries! The location is great for accessing the M4 and the views are wonderful. The staff make the Llanerch Vineyard - all are helpful and friendly!

The Bistro Resturant is excellent! I have eaten there every week I have stayed and tried almost all they have to offer and they have a new menu out last week (so I am working my way through that one!) Starters, main and desserts are all wonderful. The Trio of Lamb on the current menu is recommended. Also their Cariad wine is special - try the Rose.

A few constructive criticisms. The TVs in the room are a bit small (20inch?). The desk chairs are uncomfortable. The iron board in some of the studios is not a full iron board bt one you have to prop up on the desk/shelf and it is too hard to actually iron.

I can see this as a great weekend get away too!

A gem, a rare find. My first hotel booked through trip advisor and boy was it highly recommended but correctly recommended.Every angle is covered, the atmosphere, setting, the food, comfort. I will be returning with my wife next year for our anniversary, already booked!

Stayed for two nights with friends coinciding, by chance, with the harvesting of the grapes. The 2011 wine had also just arrived. The accomodation was excellent, the food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was first class and the Cariad wine we tried, medium dry, a real find. Overall it was a wonderful break helped in no small way by staff who couldn't do enough to help whatever the request. This is a place to visit again.

I've had the pleasure of lunching in the Bistro three times. Each time I've been impressed with the efficient, friendly service and the attention to detail. The food is excellent, beautifully presented and very modestly priced. Full marks! My only concern is that it is becoming so popular that getting a table, particularly for Sunday lunch now requires a degree of forward planning.

What a lovely place - stunning countryside, fabulously helpful/ efficient staff, comfy rooms and excellent food in the restaurant. We thought this B & B was very good value for money and would certainly stay there again.

Room Tip: farmhouse rooms have lovely view of the vineyard
