Located in the beautifully serene Thorpeness and just a few minutes walk from the beach (and pub), Turret House has a wonderfully peaceful location - a true escape and a chance to remember what decent star fields look like!
We did encounter a couple of small issues; 1 being a poor cooker, and the other being a complete boiler breakdown overnight. The latter thankfully fixed within a couple of hours.
Overall, a lovely, warm house offering a great family space and beautifully sized bedrooms (in fact all rooms). The log fire got plenty of use and a secluded garden and patio was perfect for a few fireworks.

Spent a long weekend at the Turret House and everything was perfect. Very clean throughout, bedrooms set out really lovely and of good size. Dining table perfect size for a birthday celebration seating 10 people. A great time was had by all thanks to Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages.
Stayed here with friends, big house, really comfy and clean. Big beds to fall in to, nice bathrooms with great showers. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook a Sunday roast or bake your own bread or, (as in our case) put away the paper from you fish and chips! Just a two minute walk to The Dolphin for a pint or a five minute drive to Aldeburgh. Great Wi Fi, a seperate lounge with a flatscreen if you want to keep the rugrats busy while you unwrap your fish and chips. Booked through Aldeburgh Bay Holiday Rentals, no problems!
