Just back from a midweek break in Thorpeness. When the old building was pulled down,I thought the Emporium was gone forever but I was delighted to see that the Emporium has re-opened in a brand new building opposite the Meare boating lake. To get in to the emporium you need to walk through the cafe which is at the front of the building or use the doors at the side where the car park is. The emporium is a little shoppers paradise - full of interesting items, antiques, jewellery and collectables. The cafe does very good coffee as well! Can't wait for my next visit.
