So the place itself is ok. A nice enough place to meet up with friends. It's fairly big so there's usually tables available, a few outside tables too. We visited on a Monday lunchtime during school holidays. Our order was taken fairly quickly and our starter arrived in good time. The main however took an hour to appear, and it wasn't worth the wait. Over £10 for beer battered fish chips and mushy peas. ..I should have gone to the local chippy, at least it's fresh there! The fish and batter were soggy, peas dried to the plate, chips where ok. Tartar sauce came in a heinz pot with a lid, cheap and tacky for a £10+ dish. The waiting staff were attentive but seemed very busy. Unfortunately this isn't the first time I've had food that doesn't match it's price. Drinks ok, food don't bother!
