Went into Café Milly for the first time and ordered the all day breakfast. The service wasn't very good due to the waitress being quite unfriendly and abrupt. The breakfast was very disappointing because the ingredients were poor quality and this was not reflected in the price. The bacon was particularly unappetising as it was greasy and burned. I wouldn't go back to Café Milly because there are far better places to eat in Guisborough.

Looking for a light snack, I wandered into Cafe Milly. Having no idea what to order, I spied the big choice of scones in the display case. Their quality was obvious.

So, a pot of tea and a cheese scone it was. Large oven-fresh scone with a generous pat of butter, and a refreshing cup or two of tea. Delicious! Friendly service and a reasonable price, too.

Let's face it, there isn't a lot of places to choose from when it comes to wanting a sandwich in Guisborough!

The waitresses seemed very young and were a bit abrupt if I'm honest.

The menu is a bit vague, it's not clear which sandwiches are hot and which are cold. I think it could be more specific with the ingredients instead of just stating 'cheese'.

The panini I ordered was chorizo, red pepper and cheese. It was very heavy for lunch, overflowing with bright orange cheese and green peppers as well as red, served with crisps and coleslaw.

Not the best lunch, but I'll maybe go back to try tea and cake/scone.

We are new to Guisborough and visited Cafe Milly for lunch and we were impressed. It is a lovely touch to offer table service and the food and drink arrived promptly.

We both ordered paninis and they came well presented and were very tasty. The staff were polite and concerned to make sure everything was great.

We will return to Cafe Milly.
