Lovely surroundings, very romantic for a couple. Food is beautifully presented and really tasty.

Definitely going to keep going back to work our way down the menu!!

“Brunch with too much crunch”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

Called in this week for the coffee & bacon sandwich advertised on the street.
The restaurant had a good dozen breakfasters by 10am & all the tables appeared well layed for breakfast. Staff were attentive & an excellent coffee arrived moments later. The bacon sandwich also soon arrived on toasted bread. Unfortunately, the toast was not buttered and the bacon was a little dry & overdone. It was as difficult to chew & swallow as dry cream crackers.
The coffee was probably worth the price alone but thats not the point!!

“Lovely restaurant, great food”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

Very good food in a lovely setting. The ambience upstairs with its subdued lighting is very special and the service is very good, too. A welcome addition to the ever-changing Yarm restaurant scene.

“Surprisingly good”
Reviewed January 13, 2013 via mobile

I had been in for drinks, and went to eatas the ambience was always good there. I had never been upstairs to the main dining area before. It was also very nice ambience, cute gimmick with free mini lights for those who struggled to read menus. Simple enough Asian fusion style menu, great attentive staff, good pricing on a decent wine selection. The food was a mixed bag, the starters were fantastic, duck pancakes, tempura prawns and Tom yam hung, excellent. Mains, but of a mixed bag. My duck was spot on, the accompanying sweet potato gratin was not the best though, almost like it had gone wrong, or been reheated. The other mans, a Thai curry sampling were reportedly very good. The dessert I tasted, raspberry choc slice was not good...I would have liked to have tried the treacle tart, but it had sold out, a menu item too...not a special. So, all in all I would go again, the overall experience was very good, I tipped well as service was spot n, and cheerful. The owner or manager came over and said hello and bought us a round of digestives too which was a nice touch.
