Food was ok and a good price , but veg was not very hot to start with so went cold very quickly . The table we had was for 4 and was 2 tables put together . The table was so big that 4 people could have been seated at 1 table so the rest of the tables were to close together and when the other people pulled back chairs to sit down it hit our chairs .... far to close

I go here often for food and drink and find it one of the best places in Yarm for value for money and quality of the food. They have recently launched a new website www.layfield-arms.co.uk which has the full up to date menu. I would deffo recommend the sunday Carvery also, great value !

2 meals for £10 at the Layfield Arms served Monday to Saturday 12 to 7p.m. Choice of thirteen different meals including Full Roast of the Day (fab). Sausage and mash, Traditional fish and chips, Lasagne, Chicken Parmo, Chicken Masala, Freshly baked pizza, All Day Breakfast, Mince and Dumplings, Tomato and Basil Pasta, Homemade burger, Steak and Ale Pie and Spaghetti Bolognese All these meals were on the menu when I visited in March and April. Food freshly prepared personally by the resident chef. Friendly staff and clean inviting tables where you could eat.
