We live in the States and stayed here for a week while visiting family in the North East. The cottage was very tastefully decorated, comfortable and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and everything in it looked brand new and very clean. One of the most difficult things when traveling is getting laundry done. I was pleasantly surprised to find not only a washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, but two large drying racks. Doing laundry for our family of five was a breeze! Overall, the location was great, the property was well-maintained and high quality, and gave good value.

My family and I spent a lovely three night break at the Yarm Cottages at end of October. Wonderful friendly welcome and very comfortable and warm cottage with lots of character. Yarm is also great with nice restaurants and lovely shops.

This accommodation is excellent and possibly the best in Yarm - believe me, my family checked out just about every rental available. We just loved our cottage, modern, cosy, comfortable, very tasteful and both the bathrooms and kitchen were equipped. More importantly, the cottages are priced just right. We stayed for almost three weeks!!
The Location is perfect with Yarm village only a few minutes away with some lovely shops.
The owners Jan and Geoff are just gorgeous and were very welcoming even before we arrived, nothing was too much trouble for them at all. We certainly will not hesitate to stay there again on our next trip to the UK. Thank you Jan and Geoff we had a great stay with you.

Room Tip: The pictures on the internet are good, some are larger than others so pick one that suits your taste and style.

Five of us stayed here for a week while we were working at the Arc in Stockton and it was a truly wonderful experience. The estate is so beautiful and peaceful with constant bird song, and the cottages exceptionally comfortable and well equipped. The neighbouring families staying in the cottages were wonderfully friendly - even bringing us home made scones and a bottle of wine one night! We felt incredibly welcome and content there. The owners were lovely - Janice was always friendly and helpful and we were even picked up when we walked the wrong way from the station the first day we got there! I couldn't recommend this place more and if I come back to work at the Arc again I will try and stay here. Thank you!

An absolutely wonderful place to stay. The owners are extremely welcoming and the accommodation is excellent. The cottage was full of old charm but also incorporated very modern facilities. Location is ideal with access to excellent road systems and the cottages are even close to a railway line which my husband made good use of to visit Scarborough to watch Yorkshire play cricket! There are many charming country towns in the area and there is also easy access to the wonderful North Yorkshire coast. And after a busy day out, returning to the peace and tranquillity of the cottages was such a pleasure. We loved it here. It was our second visit and we will be returning!
