“Who needs the Med.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 18, 2013

With a beautiful sunset over the Conwy Estuary, who needs the Med.
This hotel must have one of the best views in England and Wales, along with very friendly staff and excellent food.
The minted pea soup with parmesan biscuit, radishes and pea puree was a work of art and
absolutely delicious!
We loved the touch of card and cupcakes in our room for our anniversary.

Room Tip: Choose a room with Estuary View, but make sure it's on the first floor and not too near the bar.

Dear Guest

Thank you for your great comments following your recent stay with us at the Quay Hotel. Glad to hear you fully appreciated our stunning location, and yes I cannot fail to agree, we do have one of the best views in the UK. Good to know you enjoyed a delicious meal in our Grill Restaurant - your kind words will be forwarded on to the team.

Do hope you will return in the future, perhaps not leave it until the next anniversary, but come and see us soon.

Best wishes

Would have given this five stars were it not for the fact that one or two things did not work in the otherwise beautiful riverside suite. A broken trouser press and a non-working central light in the bedroom lost it one star. Small points but all round quality checks on rooms between guests are expected in an hotel of this calibre.
Evening meal in the Grill Room was excellent and the service could not have been better.
Would definitely recommend and return when hopefully all room facilities would be 100%.

Dear Guest

Thank you for your valued feedback following your recent stay. I do apologise that a couple of issues detracted from an otherwise perfect stay and would confirm I have spoken to my Head Housekeeper to address the issues of concern.

Delighted to know all other aspects of your time at the Quay were enjoyable and thank you for your kind recommendations. Good to note that you will be returning and I look forward to welcoming you back on that occasion.

We stayed here for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. The hotel and staff were fabulous. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who checked us in promptly and showed us to our room. On arrival in the room we had a card and cupcakes from the hotel which was a lovely touch. The room was comfortable and very clean with a view over the marina. Our evening meal was fantastic, couldn't fault it at all, with friendly staff who wished us happy anniversary when we arrived, a mention to Rachel (we think) who was lovely and had the time to chat to us and told us we didn't have to lift a finger! The views over the estuary and the sunset were beautiful. It's the personal touches that made the weekend, we will definitely be returning. Thank you to you all.

We have been fortunate enough to have stayed in many top class hotels but this has to be number one on our list ! The location was outstanding and the view from our executive room was breathtaking. The staff were friendly yet professional and all the meals were out of this world for quality and presentation. We booked through Secret Escapes and dined from the table d'hote menu - the choice from this was wide and varied and on no occasion were we disappointed with any of our selections. We will definitely return !

Room Tip: always take an estuary room, the experience is awesome

This place is just fabulous and we will be back. Our evening meal and breakfast were sublime, room perfect and had a lovely swim in the spa. Not the place for a bargain might out, as it's pricey, but you really do get what you pay for and the view at sunset (it was a hot sunny day) was fabulous. Very chilled out here, thanks :0)

The only issue I had with this hotel previously was that the staff did not always remember everything you ordered, but this time I could find no fault with anything, would recommend this to anyone, no faults at all all positives

Room Tip: Choose an estuary view and watch the boats sail in
