The restaurant itself is a beautifully converted hay barn, with a rustic yet modern appeal and a menu designed to showcase the fantastic Welsh larder available. During seasons we have some rare and exciting meats on the menu that have been sourced from local farms, these dishes are lovingly designed to showcase the amazing local produce available. At Bodnant we pride ourself on the freshness and quality of our seasonal Menu. The bread is freshly baked in the Bodnant bakery, the fish and shellfish is locally sourced with passion wherever possible and prepared by our fantastic Chef, the meat on offer is from our butchery and our ice creams and cheeses for our puddings and cheese board are produced in our dairy. If you have any question about any of the food or farms that we have used the team would be happy to talk to you about our high quality produce we have on the menu for you.

I was very impressed with the hay loft.we sat by the open fire whilst our food & drinks order was taken.we were then shown to our table.the staff are very friendly & helpfull.the food was very good and reasonably priced.my only thing was that they charged £1.65 for a splash of lemonade with my rose wine.i would definately go back..

“Getting better all the time!!”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

We have just had our fourth meal at the Hayloft, 2 lunches and 2 evening meals. Although it has always been excellent food served in lovely surroundings, ther wers some problems with service on our first 2 visits.Today however, even though they were very busy the service and food were excellent. I would say to anyone who has been put off by enevitable teething troubles, give it another try I dont think you will be dissapointed. I cant wait for the summer when we will be able to walk there.

“Lovely setting”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

This is my third visit to the centre. And have now tried out not only the restaurant but the small all day tearooms and the homemade ice-cream shop. The restaurant meal was reasonable but as normal always wished you had choosen your partners meal instead. The staff were very pleasant and attentive which is a big plus and the decor although new has a rustic feel to it.
There is also a farm shop under the main building with an excellent selection from local suppliers as well as there own bakers and butcher counter. Shall be returning soon.

“Wonderful ambience, fabulous food”
Reviewed January 26, 2013

My husband and I had dinner New Year's eve. We were greeted with a glass of Prosecco and relaxed in the lounge area before being called to our table. It has been a long time since we have had such a superb meal in a restaurant. The service was thoughtful and attentive, the calm atmosphere and lighting, combined with the harpist playing all added to our enjoyment. We would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
