Went with the family and some work colleagues for lunch. The food was simply delicious. I had the stilton and bacon burger amazing, the chips were the best I have tasted in a very long time. My son had a children's burger same great qualilty but smaller. All the other food that came to the table also looked good. Service appeared a little slow but it was a busy lunch time.
The only down side was I had to take 1/2 my food home, not really a problem as I had it for my dinner. Had I visited at dinner time as opposed to lunch time I am sure there would not have been any need for a doggy bag. Next time I will stick to the light bites menu for lunch and save the rest for dinner.

The Grapes at Croston has got to be the best one in Lancashire. Beautiful warm welcome, lovely atmosphere and the staff are all very friendly and professional. The food was fabulous and all freshly cooked to order will definitely be going again and well recommend for it birthday’s parties.

Just got back from a meal at the Grapes. Living in Croston we are somewhat spoilt for places to eat but it has to be said that the Grapes comes up trumps each time. There is plenty of choice for either bar food or a meal in the restaurant. You can choose from the standard menu, bar snacks, reasonably priced 3 course set menu or specials menu. The food is home cooked to a high standard, delicious, plenty of flavour and a high standard of service from the staff, nothing is ever too much trouble and particular credit must go to Stuart the chef and Ian, the maitre de. The quality of the wine has improved in recent months making the experience of eating here even better. Good ambience all round. Highly recommended
