The food and service here is consistently great. Good portions and lovely chips. Have never been disappointed but you do need to book at weekends as it gets very busy

Having pre-booked a meal elsewhere on Friday 22.07.14 to treat my cousin who resides in Portugal we actually left the restaurant after 30 minutes of being left unattended.

We took a chance and drove to the Midge Hall Pub and we were greeted by the licensee Mr Henderson. I explained our problem and asked if he could accommodate our party of four as I could see it was extremely busy. He did and we had a lovely meal, well priced and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend this pub to anyone but I suspect it would be wise to book.

What's not to like? Great published menu and lovely selection on the 'specials board'. The food was lovely and hot and came in good time. Portion sizes generous (2 courses were plenty) and veggies beautifully cooked. Good value, very friendly service. First visit today, certainly won't be our last. Would recommend booking; the restaurant area isn't that big. We ate at 12.00 noon today and the restaurant quickly filled up

Been a family favourite for as long as I can remember. Good quality food at excellent prices. The curry is superb! A traditional pub in a quaint village with outdoor seating and play area for nicer weather.
