This is the best cafe in West Kirby by far.
It doesn't matter what you order as it is all good, fresh and home cooked. The cakes are all homemade too.
A great atmosphere inside and outside (when its warm enough)

Beautiful quaint cafe. Struggled to select just one dish on the menu. Eventually settled on the cranberry, turkey, bacon & stuffing sandwich which was second to none, as too was the service. Highly recommended.

Top West Kirby restaurant for their cakes and great menu. Always popular and often full when other restaurants are quiet.

I love this cute little cafe tucked away off the cresent in West Kirby. Friendly staff and lovely oldie world surroundings with lots of trinkets to catch the eye. The soup and sandwich deal is great value for money and it comes with a free tea or coffee. The sandwiches are prepared fresh with lots of choice for filling and the soup was gorgeous (tomato & beetroot with a blob of ricotta cheese- Yum!) Definately worth a visit!!

It was by pure chance that we found this lovely cafe as we had walked all around the town looking for food that was a little bit different, we were freezing and ready to go back by train when we spotted the Aubergine cafe set down a little side street.

The sandwiches and soup along with the biggest old fashioned tea pot was the best, sandwiches so fresh (brie, walnuts, and apples) on the freshest brown bread was really nice .. so good in fact that when we arrived home my wife went out and bought the same ingredients but unfortunately although top class food the sandwiches we made just didn't taste the same.

Yes it was busy but if you're foods that good who cares ... oh yes we were just leaving when we saw the cakes on the counter, needless to say we then ate two banana cakes ..greedy or
what ?

We have been visiting West Kirkby for 50 years and never knew this cafe was there...HOW SAD IS THAT ....
