“pleasant surprise”
Reviewed June 5, 2013

Following a nice walk on the Wirral Way on Sunday morning, we came across this cafe, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The coffee was delicious and although we only had a toasted teacake the cooked breakfasts being served looked delicious and plentiful. Nice european feel about the place, lots of assorted pictures and books around the place(a little messy but very homely). Tables can be reserved. If you buy a coffee the second one is half price. Cold drinks were sold by the can, hence good quality and good value. There were a few tables outside so that visitors can enjoy the sunshine. Would definately visit this cafe again.

“Awesome Find”
Reviewed June 4, 2013 via mobile

Spotted this cafe out of the corner of my eye while driving through west kirby. Having never been there didn't know what to expect. For such a small place the use of the space was great. Loved the look and the mix of the cutlery and cups ect. Staff were lovely. Very friendly and helpful. Teas and coffees were very good and great prices too. Food was out of this world really tasty and great prices. Can't wait to go back again. Worth a trip to West kirby just for this place.

“Bags of character with great 'proper' food”
Reviewed May 23, 2013 via mobile

To call it a cafe in the traditional sense of the word would do it a great disservice.

Quaint, quirky, great rustic style food. If you're looking for a place to lunch on west Wirral this is a great option.

“My dog and I love it”
Reviewed April 25, 2013

This is super place to stop off for a coffee and a cake. There is even water provided for your dog if out walking and you are welcome to sit outside to enjoy a well earned break. The cakes are delicious but if you want something more substantial you can enjoy a light lunch.

It is hidden down a side street but well worth seeking out.
