Amazing sight. Visit the visitor centre to learn about it first. Its a fairly long hike to the cove itself as you cannot park at it. No disable access at all which is sad. We were there on a sunny day in summer but it must look different as the seasons change..

Stunning and spectacular highlights of the Yorkshire dales are in abundance around Malham and this is the most famous. We went up the steps to climb to the top and enjoy the views whilst clambering over the limestone paving. Be warned that when wet this can be very slippery so take care.

We visited for a family walk in Oct 2018. Unseasonably warm weather was delightful, not too hot for walking.

We parked on the road in Malham - there is a milk churn to pay £2 towards upkeep of the village. We then walked up to the Cove which on the village roads.

We climbed above the outcrop and walked round to Janet's Foss - a waterfall and cave where we paused for picnic lunch which we bought in a shop in Malham.

This is a lovely area; we didn't really know the Dales beforehand but will definitely try and go back.

Tip - we stayed at the Coniston Hotel which was delightful.

One of the most dramatic cliffs in Britain set in beautiful surroundings, the light grey limestone beautifully set off against the surrounding greenery. There is a path up the side to a terrific view at the top. Interesting to geologists as it is part of the Craven Fault forming the southern edge of the Yorkshire Dales

We went to the cove walk late morning after parking the car near the information center.
The walk starts on the road which is a bit problematic with the kids but if you take the forest walk it is better.
The walk is just great afterwards
Our boys decided to climb up the stairs and the view was magnificent
Great day!

Walk climb and swim. Whilst looking over the beautiful views. Had the pleasure of a beautiful clear day. A scramble up the waterfall and then across to the stunning views and a cold dip in janets foss. Beautiful, simply stunning.

Visited Malham Cove as part of a walk taking in firstly Janet’s Foss then Gordale Scar and finishing walking over the top of Malham Cove so approx 4.5 miles. All 3 were spectacular especially on such a sunny autumn day. Highly recommend visiting. Our 9 and 13 year olds managed no trouble. You can even go up to Malham Cove with a pushchair or wheelchair.

We did this amazing 5 mile circular walk today from the carpark in Malham. We walked through a gorgeous wood to Janet's Foss, did a (well worth) detour to Gordale scar and back and then took the path signposted to Malham Cove. We brought the OS map but the route was clearly marked/sign posted. The views were amazing but it did get quite busy so go early.

Went here with friends and is part of the Pennine Way walk

Easily sign posted and otherwise just follow the rest of the tourists

Not such a good day when we went but worth a visit
