“Lovely atmosphere, good food, good service”

We only had a light bite here, but it was absolutely lovely. Cannot fault the service (the head barman was very helpful and friendly) and the atmosphere was good. Would consider staying here next time!

“Lovely place to end a walk!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2012

It is always good to have the Listers Arms and its roaring open fire in your sights when walking around Malham at this time of year- we have been many times for lunch while out walking in this specatacular area and it is always a friendly atmosphere with well kept ale and delicious food - lunch on Friday was excellent as usual - and much appreciated after a wet, cold and windy walk!

“Dinner for 3”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2012

Had dinner here on a sat night stayed in buck inn. The place was packed. Service average given the prices. Food ok but we all preferred the food at the buck inn - nicer choice of beers too.

“nothing to fault about this restaurant”

Excellent food & service in a lovely setting! Generous helpings and nicely presented. Would definitely eat there again! It's popular, so book (we couldn't get a table for the Saturday evening).

“Good once you have worked it out.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2012

Like others have said, it's not obvious how it works when you walk in. It appears more restaurant than pub so unless you ask you could buy a drink, sit down & get forgotten about. Once the penny has dropped that you order at the bar all goes well. I had the gammon & I have to admit it was amongst the best I've had. The veg came separately. All was pleasantly presented with the quality & quantity representing value for money.
