Please put this on your in top 10 list as it's such a nice cemetery. It's very international in nature and shows the many nationalities who field during the Great War.

A large well kept cemetery. Long walk from a small car park to gate. Coach loads of unsupervised children showed little respect. A memorial to great sacrifice spoiled by a few.

Although I have visited war graveyards throughout France, this visit was the first which is as large and with a well presented Visitor Centre.
The Centre is very interesting and informative.
The whole place is in pristine condition.
A visit here is well worth while!
Allow one to two hours to do it justice.

On arriving here early one morning we were able to go into the visitor's centre and read about the war and how things were for the people in the surrounding area at that time. We left the centre and followed the Wisteria lined wall to the Cemetery entrance. The headstones and flowers at each grave are well kept and show respect for the soldiers who lost their lives. While visiting here there was a party of school children being given a history lesson on the war and what happened in the surrounding area which is good to pass on to the young and let them see how many lost their lives.

This was our third visit to the cemetery but our first since the opening of the visitor's .centre. It is very well presented and well worth a visit. The listening wall is very moving with stories from WW1. Entry is free.
