We stumbled across this restaurant as we had rented a house in Maubec for my Mum's 70th Birthday. We are a party of 4 with a 10 month old baby.
Earlier in the day we had dined at La Bastide de Gordes for lunch - A beautiful hotel with spectacular views and a lovely terrace cut into the edge of the hilltop, where we enjoyed a delicious lunch - would thoroughly reccomend.
After returning to Maubec we decided to take a stroll around the village, mainly to let our baby have a bit of a play in the play park and walking past La Bergerie decided to stop for an early evening drink snack. The owner here can only be described as bullish. This place is enjoying the monopoly in Maubec and is a tourist trap to say the least. Empasis is on a quick turnover and adding as many charged extras to your bill as possible. The staff are very unfriendly and there is a clear dislike for the British - avoid at all costs!
