Description: Molly’s Bar & Parlour Restaurant is located in the heart of Irvinestown. Whilst the exterior of Molly’s Bar & Parlour Restaurant is quite modern and inviting, upon entering you are immediately struck by its’ olde-world charm which is authentically created by the low ceiling beams, wooden floors and traditional fireplace. Hearty pub food, late opening hours, live music, an excellent restaurant for a congenial evening, with something to offer for everyone!

On a recent visit to this restaurant with my companion for some late lunch we were approached by a friendly gentleman with menus and informed of the daily specials. Without hesitation he returned and got us our drinks. An older lady then got our food order but was very persistent for us to order something else as we were sharing three starters but we were content with that. In the short time we were waiting for our food to arrive another lady arrived with some bread for us. Then she returned wth our food and quite harshly placed them on table and just left. It was a quiet afternoon and there appeared to be a lot of staff on duty however I tried three times to get someone's attention as they were more interested in the match that was on television. Once we were near finished eating and after being prompted by someone else this young man approached us to see how we were getting on. Service was quick but due to high number of staff and low number of customers I expect nothing less. The quality of the food was average, nothing to make me want to rush back but I would like to try their evening menu. Some improvements of the attitude of the front of house wouldn't give a miss.

Just had an amazing meal in this restaurant. Would highly recommend it if you want traditional pub grub! Burgers are like nothing I've tasted before! Staff were very firendly and helpful! Will definitely be back!

“Food good enough but avent a clue about running a restaurant”
Reviewed May 12, 2013

Poor poor poor, try to charge for things that you didn't order, unfriendly staff,if order is wrong they scrape out the unwanted ingredient, bung it in the microwave and make it scalding hot to bluff it off as a new dish, quite expensive aswell,

“Disappointing to say the least”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

Myself and my partner decided to treat ourselves to an evening meal in Molly's as a treat one Sunday evening. We had heard great reports about it and decided to give it a try. Firstly we waited 45 minutes for our food, which was brought to us by unfriendly staff who were more interested in talking to each other than doing any work. The food that was presented to us was tasteless, over cooked and most certainly over priced. We were also charged for side orders that we didn't receive and were shocked at the cost of it. We will most certainly not be returning here again, very disappointing!

“Cosy pub, lovely food!”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

Really great atmosphere, very friendly and the staff seemed to be known by a lot of the other diners which can only be a good thing as it means people must love the food to keep returning! Lovely wee fire in the corner which made the visit even more cosy.

We had called in for a later evening feed, my husband and I shared two pizzas and a side of chips. The pizza's were on a lovely home made base and the Chilli chicken pizza was loaded with plenty of toppings, very tasty indeed. Mushroom pizza was just as good, I'd recommend this to any vegetarian, you definitely wouldn't be missing out by opting for this choice!! The chips are chunky and home-made style so the meal ticked all the boxes.

Good value for money too!
