On a recent visit to this restaurant with my companion for some late lunch we were approached by a friendly gentleman with menus and informed of the daily specials. Without hesitation he returned and got us our drinks. An older lady then got our food order but was very persistent for us to order something else as we were sharing three starters but we were content with that. In the short time we were waiting for our food to arrive another lady arrived with some bread for us. Then she returned wth our food and quite harshly placed them on table and just left. It was a quiet afternoon and there appeared to be a lot of staff on duty however I tried three times to get someone's attention as they were more interested in the match that was on television. Once we were near finished eating and after being prompted by someone else this young man approached us to see how we were getting on. Service was quick but due to high number of staff and low number of customers I expect nothing less. The quality of the food was average, nothing to make me want to rush back but I would like to try their evening menu. Some improvements of the attitude of the front of house wouldn't give a miss.
